I had such a marvelous time up in California’s wine country shooting my beautiful friend and fellow photographer Megan while assisting my lovely friend Jen at one of her recent workshops.  The epitome of grace, she moves as though she floats on air….  So excited to be traveling with her this spring!

Beautiful bride Aude and her debonair husband Gilles are a such a splendid couple - it was a joy to witness how completely enamored they are with one another.  Everything about this shoot was unspeakably pretty; the florals by the spectacularly talented Poppies & Posies team in particular were simply divine!  In a word, everything about the day was Heavenly.

These images were shot during a lovely summer afternoon spent with family in our uncle’s garden - one of my very favorite spaces on earth.  Our niece and nephew are quite the horticulturists, astonishing us with their knowledge of branch grafting and cultivation at age six!

My dear friends Michael & Lindsey, whom you may recall from their Downtown Engagement Shoot, asked me to document their pre-wedding festivities.  Lindsey was a vision after visiting DryBar and Blushington, and their excitement was palpable as we waited for all of the participants to arrive at the Los Angeles River Center for their rehearsal.

I am so glad that they asked me to shoot this beautiful time – in the hustle + bustle of the days leading up to a couple’s big day, sometimes smaller joyful moments get lost in the shuffle.  I’m elated that they will both have these images to allow them to relive all of the celebration and laughter that epitomized this period in their lives.

Check back next week for the rehearsal dinner + pre-wedding get-together - I promise you, it will be worth it for the photo bombs alone!
